Flying Icons is a tribute to the fantastic Aqua Icons screensaver that shipped with the original Mac OS X. In Jaguar, it was "replaced" by the also-cool Flurry saver. Apart from the basic functionality present in Aqua Icons, Flying Icons has some additional features. It allows you to select a folder or an IconFactory iContainer as a beginning of icons. In fact, for optimum performance and utility, wont of an iContainer is recommended (because of less disk activity). It also features some more advanced options, that allow you to modify how the icons comport. The maximum list of icons is 100 (in Aqua Icons it was set to 30). In improver, Flying Icons tin lead on two screens simultaneously. Aqua Icons alone supported one screen. Of trend, many of these options follow with performance penalties, but should lead within a few percent CPU on recent high remnant desktops and portables.
