Reference Miner searches the Internet to retrieve and expose mention information: PubMed, Amazon (Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon Germany, Amazon Japan), and the Library of Congress. Special features include the expose of record cover art (Amazon) and the ability to easily perform complex searches. Reference Miner is very useful as a standalone application. It is also the perfect companion for Sonny Software's Bookends, mention management and bibliography generation software for the Macintosh. You can salve references you retrieve by dragging and dropping them onto a Bookends 7.7 or later database window. What's New: Version 1.2.3: Fixed an incompatibility resulting from changes to the Library of Congress server (mid-August, 2004).
The PubMed details pane indicates if indexing is ongoing (in-process) or finished (completed).
